Four Victorian women are drawn into the dark underground world of female boxing in London by the eccentric Professor Sharp. Controlled by men and constrained by corsets, each finds an unexpected freedom in the ring.

Auditions will be held Nov. 17 and Nov. 18 at 7 PM.

• Polly Stokes: A natural fighter and orphan from the north

• Anna Lamb: A wealthy woman trapped in an abusive marriage

• Matilda "Matty" Blackwell: Irish, also works as a type-setter for the Times newspaper

• Violet Hunter: A nurse who dreams of becoming a doctor

• Professor Charlie Sharp: An eccentric who lures the women into the world of boxing

• Dr. James Bell: Violet's fiancé

• Aunt George: Violet's aunt who refuses to watch her fight

• Gabriel Lamb: Anna's abusive husband

• Paul Stokes: Polly's adopted brother
